Why "from Rocha with East"?

Teacher Faty selected this title because is from de children of Rocha to the children of East Elementary School in Littleton, Colorado. She went to Littleton in February 2009.
We are sharing a project with them because we are learning english and their language is english.

OUR SCHOOL

The school Nº 72 Peregina Balboa is situated in the district "Los Perales" this school is full time in Rocha, Uruguay. The student learn 7 hour and a 1/2 and have break 30 minutes , we have lunch time and in the morning and in the afternoon we drink milk.

We prepare a work in teams to present all we know about reproduction, and sexuality.

We work last Friday in the clasroom with some parents

This things you can do with PET recycling

It was amazing to work with plastic bottles. We all enjoy to do it!!!

We celebrate de National Day of Education on Friday 22nd and we made an exposition about how to reuse plastic bottles

We made a beautiful party with all the classes at school. We enjoyed a lot!!!

Hello everybody! I went to USA on February 2009 and I visited East Elementary School. I stayed in Littleton, Colorado two weeks only. I would like to come back!! All Teachers and students were wonderful and Celia and me enjoyed it very much.
Now, the 5th grade Teachers Mr Moore and Mrs Van Der Melde and me ( Teacher Faty de Avila) are trying to make a writting and cultural exchange project with you... our awesome students.
I am very happy with this, and I hope you like it too.
